Universal Adapter Owner’s Manual

Instructions:

  1. Determine the proper output voltage setting. Check the rating or number of batteries used in the product.
  1. Set the selector switch to the proper voltage.
  1. Six Adapter Plugs are supplied with your adapter. Determine which Adapter Plug best fits into the external power supply jack (sometimes labeled “DC IN”) of the unit to be powered.
  1. Before attaching the Adapter Plug into the external power jack, check the rating on the power jack to determine the tip polarity. Reverse polarity may cause permanent damage to the product. 
    Common Symbols for tip polarity are as follows: 
    Align the Tip of Adapter Plug with appropriate polarity mark (either “Neg(-) or Pos(+)”) on the sleeve, then connect into the external power jack.
  2. Connect Adapter Plug to power jack of product, plug adapter into standard electrical outlet, then operate the product as usual. If it does not operate, disconnect the adapter immediately and review instruction above.
