How warranty works for Appliances and Electronics

How warranty works at L.C Sawh Enterprises Ltd?ย 

The limited warranty covers manufacturers’ defects for a specified period after the date of purchase. The warranty coverage varies between manufacturers, brands and products.

Warranty coverage DOES NOT apply to the following:

  1. Replacement parts or repair labour if the appliance/electronic is used in a manner that is inconsistent to published user or operator instructions and/or installation instructions.

  2. Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, acts of God, improper installation, installation not is accordance with electrical or plumbing codes, or use of products not approved by manufacturer.

  3. Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, chips or other damage to the finish of your appliance/electronic, unless such damage results from defects in materials or workmanship and is reported to L.C Sawh Enterprises Ltd within 5 working days from the date of purchase.

  4. Appliance/ Electronic light bulbs, batteries, speakers, amplifiers and car decks after testing of the product, air filters or water filters and other consumable parts are excluded from warranty coverage.

  5. Any food or medicine loss due to refrigerator or freezer product failures.

  6. The removal and re-installation of the appliance/electronic if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s published installation instructions.

  7. Replacement parts or repair labour on appliances/ electronics with original model/serial numbers that been removed, altered or cannot be easily determined.

  8. Discoloration, rust or oxidation of surfaces is not covered under warranty. Complaints within the warranty period of purchase will be inspected by a technician and treated accordingly.

  9. The body of appliances and electronics once the customer resides in an area susceptible to sea blast.

  10. Once the customer’s item(s) is/are returned within the warranty period situated on the customer’s receipt. The item needs to be checked by L.C Sawh Enterprises Ltd qualified technician of our choice. Once the technician finds the product can be repaired we proceed in having the product repaired and returned to the customer in working condition. However, if the technician findings shows that the product is unrepairable the customer will then have the option to select the following  (1) we replace the product for the customer with a brand new one or (2) a refund will be issued to the customer.
